Half Life proposte spazzatura da HollyWood

Già dalla prima uscita del gioco HollyWood si è interessata a fare un Film su di esso ma le proposte fino ad ora sono Indecenti, “Da giocatore di WoW, preferirei che sia il gruppo che ha creato WoW a realizzare il film, piuttosto che qualsiasi altra persona.” Queste le parole di Gabe (amministratore delegato della software house), ma tralasciando i desideri personali Valve non ha potuto fare altro che valutare di fare lei stessa un Film su Half Life. Ancora non hanno pianificato niente ma vorrebbero prendere spunto dai corti di Team Fortress 2; ancora non sappiamo se verrà fatto con attori reali o realizzati al Pc, ma scomettiamo tutti che questo Film non sarà il solito Film patacca preso da HollyWood per fare soldi con la fama del titolo. Ciao a tutti Ormai sapete tutti cos’è turpial vero? è un client twitter leggero e veloce! Stasera, dovendo affrontare un problema di login su twitter tramite il vecchio turpial, ho deciso di aggiornare per provare la versione nuova…questa non ha avuto il problema delle credenziali e si è collegata subito. Ho però notato che, come per la versione precendete, la traduzione è abbastanza maccheronica…così ho deciso di finirla io =D (Non capisco…avevo mandato all’autore la mia traduzione che era completa e migliore…bha…) Comunque eccovi la traduzione…

[Ubuntu] Come ottenere un desktop “alla moda” in 10 passi!

Torniamo a parlare di personalizzazione con questa semplice guida. Perché desktop alla moda? Perché ultimamente si sente molto parlare di AWN Lucido e The Elegant Gnome Pack e noi andremo proprio ad utilizzarli per cambiare l’aspetto del nostro desktop da così a cosà: così cosà NOTA: Guida vietata ai suricati indipendenti perchè il ppa di The Elegant Gnome Pack non è ancora disponibile! Questi sono i passi da seguire: 1) Aggiungere i repository di AWN: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:awn-testing/ppa && sudo apt-get update 2) Installare la versione di sviluppo di AWN: sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator-trunk avant-window-navigator-data-trunk python-awn-trunk awn-settings-trunk awn-applets-python-core-trunk python-awn-extras-trunk awn-applets-python-extras-trunk awn-applets-c-core-trunk awn-applets-c-extras-trunk 3) Aggiungere il repository per il motore Murrine: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:murrine-daily/ppa 4) Installare il motore: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine L’autore di The Elegant Gnome Pack consiglia di installare Nautilus Elementary, quindi eseguiamo questi passi: 5) Aggiungere il repository per nautilus elementary: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:am-monkeyd/nautilus-elementary-ppa 6) Installare Nautilus Elementary: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade nautilus -q 7) Aggiungere il repository per The Elegant Gnome Pack: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elegant-gnome/ppa && sudo apt-get update 8 ) Installare il tema ed il carattere richiesto dal tema: sudo apt-get install elegant-gnome ttf-droid 9) Andiamo in Applicazioni -> Accessori -> Elegant GNOME e selezioniamo la voce Install the pack; 10) Enjoy your desktop! Una delle cose piu’ noiose , ma indispensabile se si vuole un sistema perfettamente integrato con l’ hardware , e’ andarsi a sistemare i driver . Cosi’ spesso si deve andare a chiedere aiuto o cercare in rete . Il piu’ delle volte per indicare i driver che sono installati nel nostro sistema, capire quali mancano o quali non funzionano, dobbiamo andarci a controllare da terminale le periferiche e i bus PCI con il comando lspci (con le sue varie opzioni) il cui output non e’ di facile lettura per tutti

Vedere Rai-Tv su Google Chrome – Chromium

Molti utenti, compreso chi scrive l’articolo, stanno accantonando il buon Firefox per Google Chrome, sopratutto la nuova versione 7.0 è personalmente eccezionale. Come per Firefox ho provato a vedere la tv in streaming grazie al sito RaiTv, il quale per visualizzarlo dobbiamo installare Moonlight, ma ho notato che dalla pagina del supporto non è presente Google Chrome ma solo Firefox.Incuriosito
